الفصل الأول: الإخوة الثلاثة
1. Once upon a time, there was a poor man who had three sons.
في قديم الزمان، كان هناك رجل فقير لديه ثلاثة أبناء.
2. The eldest was proud and selfish.
كان الأكبر متكبراً وأنانياً.
3. The middle son was clever but unkind.
كان الأوسط ذكياً لكنه قاسٍ.
4. The youngest son was kind and often laughed. People called him “Dumming”, yet he had a good heart.
كان الابن الأصغر طيباً وكثير الضحك. أطلق عليه الناس اسم "دامِلِنج"، ومع ذلك كان لديه قلب طيب.
5. One day, their father sent each son into the forest to cut wood.
في أحد الأيام، أرسل الأب كل ابن إلى الغابة ليحتطب.
6. The eldest brother went first. As he worked, an old man came closer to him, asking for food and water.
ذهب الأخ الأكبر أولاً. بينما كان يعمل، اقترب منه رجل عجوز طالباً طعاماً وشراباً.
7. The eldest son, thinking only of himself, rudely refused.
الابن الأكبر، لم يفكر إلا في نفسه، رفض بوقاحة.
8. Soon after, his axe slipped, and he injured his hand.
بعد فترة وجيزة، انزلقت فأسه فأصاب يده.
9. Tired and angry, he went home with little to show.
عاد إلى المنزل متعباً وغاضباً دون أن يحقق شيئاً يُذكر.
10. The next day, the middle brother went to the forest. He too met the old man, who asked kindly for food and drink.
في اليوم التالي، ذهب الأخ الأوسط إلى الغابة. قابل الرجل العجوز أيضاً الذي طلب منه طعاماً وشراباً بلطف.
11. The middle son laughed at him and walked away.
ضحك الابن الأوسط عليه ومضى في طريقه.
12. Not long after, his axe broke, and he returned home with nothing.
بعد وقت قصير، انكسرت فأسه وعاد إلى المنزل خالي الوفاض.
13. Both brothers laughed at Dumming when their father told him it was his turn, for they thought he could not succeed.
ضحك الأخوان على داملِنج عندما أخبرهم والدهم أن دوره قد حان، لأنهما اعتقدا أنه لن ينجح.
14. But Dumming, though simple, had a heart full of kindness that would soon change his life forever.
لكن داملِنج، رغم بساطته، كان قلبه مليئاً بالطيبة التي ستغير حياته قريباً إلى الأبد.
الفصل الثاني: طيبة داملِنج
1. At last, it was Dumming’s turn to go into the forest.
أخيراً، حان دور داملِنج للذهاب إلى الغابة.
2. Unlike his brothers, he gladly shared his bread and drink with the old man he met along the way.
على عكس إخوته، شارك الرجل العجوز خبزه وشرابه بسعادة عندما قابله في الطريق.
3. The old man smiled and blessed him, saying, “Because of your kindness, you will be rewarded”.
ابتسم الرجل العجوز وباركه قائلاً: "بسبب طيبتك، ستُكافأ".
4. He guided Dumming to a special tree and told him to cut it down.
أرشد داملِنج إلى شجرة خاصة وطلب منه أن يقطعها.
5. When Dumming did, he found a goose inside with feathers made of pure shining gold.
عندما فعل داملِنج ذلك، وجد إوزة بداخلها ريش من الذهب الخالص اللامع.
6. Amazed by this, Dumming gently picked up the golden goose wondering what adventures it might bring.
مندهشاً من ذلك، التقط داملِنج الإوزة الذهبية برفق متسائلاً عن المغامرات التي قد تجلبها.
7. That night, He stayed at a small hotel at a busy market, which was owned by a man and his three children.
في تلك الليلة، أقام في فندق صغير بسوق مزدحم، يملكه رجل وأطفاله الثلاثة.
8. They were surprised by the bird’s beauty.
كانوا مندهشين من جمال الطائر.
9. Greed filled their hearts as they thought of taking a golden feather for themselves.
ملأ الطمع قلوبهم عندما فكروا في أخذ ريشة ذهبية لأنفسهم.
10. But the goose was not ordinary—it had a strange, magical power that would soon reveal itself.

الفصل الثالث: سحر الإوزة
1. When Dummling brought the goose to the hotel, curious people gathered to look at it.
عندما أحضر داملِنج الإوزة إلى الفندق، تجمع الناس الفضوليون للنظر إليها.
2. The goose glowed brightly, attracting everyone’s attention.
توهجت الإوزة بشكل مشرق، جاذبةً انتباه الجميع.
3. The hotel owner’s three children tried to steal one of its golden feathers.
حاول أطفال صاحب الفندق الثلاثة سرقة إحدى ريشاتها الذهبية.
4. But as soon as the eldest touched the goose, his hand stuck fast.
لكن بمجرد أن لمس الأكبر الإوزة، التصقت يده بها بشدة.
5. The second son tried to help, but he also stuck.
حاول الابن الثاني المساعدة، لكنه التصق أيضاً.
6. Then the youngest son, too, became attached.
ثم التصق الابن الأصغر أيضاً.
7. In the morning, Dummling woke up, unaware of what had happened.
في الصباح، استيقظ داملِنج، وهو غير مدرك لما حدث.
8. He picked up the goose and left the hotel. To his surprise, the three children followed him.

9. People stared as they walked down the road, laughing at the strange sight.
حدق الناس إليهم وهم يسيرون في الطريق، ضاحكين من المنظر الغريب.
10. Dummling, though puzzled, continued walking, with the goose under his arm and the children following.
واصل داملِنج السير، رغم حيرته، والإوزة تحت إبطه والأطفال يتبعونه.
الفصل الرابع: الموكب الطويل
1. Dumming walked down the road with the goose under his arm.
سار داملِنج في الطريق والإوزة تحت إبطه.
2. Behind him, the three boys were stuck, struggling and crying, but they had no choice but to follow.
خلفه، كان الفتيان الثلاثة عالقين، يتخبطون ويبكون، لكن لم يكن لديهم خيار سوى التبعية.
3. Along the way, a schoolmaster laughed at the sight and tried to pull them free.
على طول الطريق، ضحك معلم من المنظر وحاول تحريرهم.
4. Instead, he stuck fast as well. Soon, a farmer joined in, and then a soldier, and even more people.

5. A lot of people followed Dumming through the village, all unable to let go of the magical goose.

الفصل الخامس: ضحكة الأميرة
1. In the kingdom, there was a princess who had never smiled or laughed.

تفاجأ الملك لكنه أوفى بوعده.

قال إنه يمكن لداملِنج الزواج من ابنته إذا تمكن أيضاً من إثبات جدارته من خلال مهام أخرى.

رغم أن الكثيرين ما زالوا يشكون فيه، إلا أن طيبة داملِنج وإصراره منحاه القوة.

الفصل السادس: مكافأة داملِنج
1. The king was true to his word and allowed Dumming to marry the princess after he completed the challenges wisely.
كان الملك صادقاً في كلمته وسمح لداملِنج بالزواج من الأميرة بعد أن أكمل التحديات بحكمة.
2. The wedding was grand, and the whole kingdom celebrated.
كان حفل الزفاف مهيباً، واحتفلت المملكة بأكملها.
3. The people no longer laughed at Dumming, for his kindness and modesty had brought him great fortune.
لم يعد الناس يضحكون على داملِنج، لأن طيبته وتواضعه جلبا له ثروة عظيمة.
4. He became a wise and gentle prince, loved by all.
أصبح أميراً حكيماً ولطيفاً، محبوباً من الجميع.
5. The golden goose remained with him, a sign of the rewards of kindness and generosity.
بقيت الإوزة الذهبية معه، علامة على مكافآت الطيبة والكرم.
6. Dumming’s goodness proved that even the simplest soul, with a kind heart, could achieve success.
أثبتت طيبة داملِنج أنه حتى أبسط الأرواح، بقلب طيب، يمكنها تحقيق النجاح.
7. The tale of the golden goose spread across the land.
انتشرت حكاية الإوزة الذهبية في جميع أنحاء البلاد.
8. It reminded all that true wealth lies not in gold, but in kindness, modesty, and love.
ذكّرت الجميع بأن الثروة الحقيقية لا تكمن في الذهب، بل في الطيبة والتواضع والحب.
