الفصل الأول: وُجِد في الأدغال
1. In the heart of the Indian jungle, a baby boy wandered away from his village.
في قلب الغابة الهندية، تاه طفل رضيع بعيداً عن قريته.
2. He was discovered by Father Wolf and Mother Wolf.
عثر عليه الذئب الأب والذئبة الأم.
3. At first, the animals were astonished. Why should a human child appear in the wolves’ cave?
في البداية، كانت الحيوانات مذهولة. لماذا يظهر طفل بشري في عرين الذئاب؟
4. Shere Khan, the wild tiger, demanded the child for himself, saying that humans did not belong in the wild.
طالب شيريخان، النمر البري، بالطفل لنفسه، قائلاً إن البشر لا ينتمون إلى البرية.
5. But Mother Wolf stood firmly against him, saying the boy was hers now.
لكن الذئبة الأم وقفت بحزم ضده، قائلة إن الصبي أصبح ملكها الآن.
6. Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther supported her.

10. Mowgli grew up running with the cubs, learning the ways of the forest.
نشأ ماوكلي وهو يركض مع الأشبال، ويتعلم أساليب الغابة.
11. Though human in body, he was raised by the laws of the jungle.
رغم أنه بشر في جسده، فقد نشأ على قوانين الغابة.
12. Yet the shadow of Shere Khan remained, for the tiger swore he would one day destroy the man-cub.
لكن ظل شيريخان بقي موجوداً، فقد أقسم النمر أنه سيدمر الشبل البشري يوماً ما.
الفصل الثاني: قانون الغابة
1. Baloo began Mowgli’s training in the Law of the Jungle.
بدأ بالو تدريب ماوكلي على قانون الغابة.
2. He taught him respect for the hunting grounds and the importance of loyalty.
علمه احترام أراضي الصيد وأهمية الولاء.
3. Bagheera added lessons of hiding, climbing, and self-defense.
أضاف باغيرا دروساً في الاختباء والتسلق والدفاع عن النفس.
4. Though sometimes tough, Mowgli loved his teachers and followed their advice.
رغم قسوة التدريب أحياناً، أحب ماوكلي معلميه واتبع نصائحهم.
5. Yet not all creatures followed the law. One day, the naughty Bandar-log, the monkey, kidnapped Mowgli.
لكن لم تتبع كل المخلوقات القانون. في أحد الأيام، اختطف بندر-لوج، القردة المشاغبون، ماوكلي.
6. They carried him high into the trees, saying that they would make him their leader.
حملوه عالياً إلى الأشجار، قائلين إنهم سيجعلونه قائدهم.
7. But the Bandar-log were chaotic, without order or honor. Mowgli soon realized their false promises.
لكن بندر-لوج كانوا فوضويين، بلا نظام أو شرف. سرعان ما أدرك ماوكلي وعودهم الكاذبة.
8. Baloo and Bagheera, hopeless to save their pupil, asked for help from Kaa, the giant python.
طلب بالو وباغيرا، اليائسان من إنقاذ تلميذهما، المساعدة من كا، الأفعى الضخمة.
9. Together, they stormed the monkeys’ ruined city. In a wild struggle, Kaa’s coils and the guardians’ strength scared away the Bandar-log.

10. Mowgli was saved, grateful for the loyalty of his friends.

11. This adventure taught him that not all who call themselves friends can be trusted.

12. True friendship, he realized, came from loyalty and respect.

الفصل الثالث: سر النار
1. As Mowgli grew, so did Shere Khan’s hatred.
مع نمو ماوكلي، نمت كراهية شيريخان.
2. The tiger could not accept a human living among the animals.
لم يستطع النمر تقبل وجود إنسان يعيش بين الحيوانات.
3. He whispered lies to the wolf pack, warning them that Mowgli would bring fire and ruin to the jungle.
همس بالأكاذيب لقطيع الذئاب، محذراً إياهم من أن ماوكلي سيجلب النار والدمار للغابة.
4. Some wolves began to doubt the boy’s place.
بدأت بعض الذئاب تشك في مكانة الصبي.
5. Bagheera warned Mowgli that the day would come when he must face the tiger directly.
حذر باغيرا ماوكلي من أن اليوم سيأتي حين يجب عليه مواجهة النمر مباشرة.
6. “Men have one power the jungle fears,” he said. “You must learn the secret of fire.”
قال: "يملك البشر قوة تخشاها الغابة. يجب أن تتعلم سر النار."
7. Following this advice, Mowgli visited the nearby village, watching humans closely.
تبعاً لهذه النصيحة، زار ماوكلي القرية المجاورة، وراقب البشر عن كثب.
8. From them, he secretly stole a pot of burning coals, which he guarded carefully.
سرق منهم سراً وعاءً من الجمر المتقد، والذي كان يحرسه بعناية.
9. The tension grew. At the wolf council, Shere Khan wanted Mowgli to leave the jungle.

10. The pack argued, torn between loyalty to the boy and fear of the tiger.

11. At last, Mowgli revealed the secret weapon. Holding up the fire, he drove Shere Khan back.

12. The tiger moved back but still wanted revenge.
تراجع النمر لكنه ما زال يريد الانتقام.
13. Though he won, Mowgli felt sad. He realized that many wolves no longer saw him as one of their own.
رغم فوزه، شعر ماوكلي بالحزن. أدرك أن العديد من الذئاب لم يعودوا يرونه واحداً منهم.
14. His fate, he felt, might be away from the pack.
شعر أن مصيره ربما يكون بعيداً عن القطيع.
الفصل الرابع: المواجهة الأخيرة لماوكلي
1. The final confrontation arrived. Shere Khan set a trap to kill Mowgli by driving cattle toward him.
حانت المواجهة الأخيرة. نصب شيريخان فخاً لقتل ماوكلي عن طريق دفع الماشية نحوه.
2. Yet Mowgli, brave and resourceful, turned the plan against the tiger.
لكن ماوكلي، الشجاع وواسع الحيلة، قلب الخطة ضد النمر.
3. With fire and cunning, he forced the herd to run away, trapping Shere Khan in a narrow pass.
بالنار والدهاء، أجبر القطيع على الهرب، محاصراً شيريخان في ممر ضيق.
4. The tiger was crushed and finally defeated.
تم سحق النمر وهُزم أخيراً.
5. Standing over his fallen enemy, Mowgli felt both victory and sadness.
واقفاً فوق عدوه الساقط، شعر ماوكلي بالنصر والحزن معاً.
6. He had protected himself and his wolf family, but at a cost.
لقد حمى نفسه وعائلته من الذئاب، لكن بثمن.
7. When he returned to the pack, many wolves rejected him, believing that humans could never truly belong to the jungle.
عندما عاد إلى القطيع، نبذته العديد من الذئاب، معتقدة أن البشر لا يمكن أن ينتموا حقاً إلى الغابة.
8. Mowgli decided to leave the pack. With a heavy heart, he said goodbye to the wolves.
قرر ماوكلي مغادرة القطيع. بقلب مثقل، ودع الذئاب.
9. He promised never to forget them.
وعد ألا ينساهم أبداً.
10. This victory marked the end of his childhood. He was no longer the helpless man-cub saved by Mother Wolf.
كان هذا النصر علامة على نهاية طفولته. لم يعد الشبل البشري العاجز الذي أنقذته الذئبة الأم.
11. He had become a young man, strong and wise, yet still searching for where he truly belonged.
لقد أصبح شاباً، قوياً وحكيماً، لكنه ما زال يبحث عن مكانه الحقيقي.
الفصل الخامس: ماوكلي في قرية البشر
1. Mowgli entered the nearby human village.
دخل ماوكلي القرية البشرية المجاورة.
2. At first, the people were surprised by the strange boy who seemed half wild.
في البداية، فوجئ الناس بالصبي الغريب الذي بدا نصف متوحش.
3. They gave him food, clothing, and a place to stay.
أعطوه طعاماً وملبساً ومكاناً للإقامة.
4. For a time, he tried to live as they did, learning their speech and customs.
لفترة من الوقت، حاول أن يعيش كما يعيشون، متعلماً كلامهم وعاداتهم.
5. Yet Mowgli found life among humans difficult.
لكن ماوكلي وجد الحياة بين البشر صعبة.
6. Many villagers doubted him, whispering that he was dangerous or cursed.
شك فيه العديد من القرويين، وهمسوا بأنه خطير أو ملعون.
7. Others tried to control him, telling him what to do and where to go.
حاول آخرون السيطرة عليه، وأخبروه ماذا يفعل وأين يذهب.
8. Accustomed to the freedom of the jungle, Mowgli felt trapped.
بعد أن اعتاد حرية الغابة، شعر ماوكلي بأنه محاصر.
9. Still, he discovered some values in human life. He cared for the village’s cattle, protecting them from predators.
ومع ذلك، اكتشف بعض القيم في حياة البشر. اعتنى بماشية القرية، وحماها من المفترسين.
10. He also learned more about fire and tools, seeing how humans used them to shape their environment.
تعلم أيضاً المزيد عن النار والأدوات، ورأى كيف يستخدمها البشر لتشكيل بيئتهم.
11. Yet in his heart, he longed for the open forest and the simple honesty of the law of the jungle.
لكنه في قلبه، اشتاق إلى الغابة المفتوحة والصدق البسيط لقانون الغابة.
12. Caught between doubt from men and rejection from wolves, Mowgli felt isolated once more.
عالقاً بين شك البشر ونبذ الذئاب، شعر ماوكلي بالعزلة مرة أخرى.
الفصل السادس: توازن حياة ماوكلي
1. Over time, Mowgli accepted that he belonged to both worlds.
مع مرور الوقت، تقبل ماوكلي أنه ينتمي إلى كلا العالمين.
2. He returned often to the jungle, visiting Baloo, Bagheera, and his wolf brothers.
عاد كثيراً إلى الغابة، لزيارة بالو وباغيرا وأخوته الذئاب.
3. They welcomed him as family, reminding him that courage and loyalty were stronger than blood.
رحبوا به كعائلة، مذكرين إياه بأن الشجاعة والولاء أقوى من الدم.
4. At the same time, he kept ties with the village, helping humans protect their cattle and crops.
في نفس الوقت، حافظ على صلاته بالقرية، وساعد البشر في حماية ماشيتهم ومحاصيلهم.
5. Mowgli became a bridge between man and nature.
أصبح ماوكلي جسراً بين الإنسان والطبيعة.
6. He defended the jungle against hunters who killed needlessly, and he defended the villagers against wild animals when necessary.
دافع عن الغابة ضد الصيادين الذين يقتلون بلا داع، ودافع عن القرويين ضد الحيوانات البرية عند الضرورة.
7. Through this balance, he found a new kind of peace.
من خلال هذا التوازن، وجد نوعاً جديداً من السلام.
8. Mowgli carried within him the order of the Law of the Jungle and the knowledge of people.
حمل ماوكلي في داخله نظام قانون الغابة ومعرفة البشر.
9. By uniting them, he discovered strength greater than either alone.
بتوحيدهما، اكتشف قوة أعظم من أي منهما بمفرده.
10. The Jungle Book ends not with Mowgli choosing one world over the other, but with him welcoming both.
لا ينتهي كتاب الأدغال باختيار ماوكلي لعالم واحد على الآخر، بل بترحيبه بكليهما.
11. His story remains a sign of courage, belonging, and balance between human and nature.
تبقى قصته علامة على الشجاعة والانتماء والتوازن بين الإنسان والطبيعة.
